About Me

Hi, I’m Courtnee, the creator of A Place To Bake. I began blogging in 2017 with my first website Figuring Out Now, which allowed me to explore topics that many young adults were facing and create a space for learning and conversation. I also posted recipes because I am an avid home baker.

As my lifestyle expanded, especially regarding cooking and baking, I wanted a place to also expand and share what I was learning and experiencing. I began hosting a lot, throwing birthday parties, having lots of dinner parties, crafting and hosting parties for others, and more. I also began learning about the technical sides of cooking and baking. I have been cooking, baking, developing recipes, and hosting in some capacity for over 10 years.

I can’t truly fit all I’d like to share into a recipe post, and let’s be honest, people aren’t coming to recipe posts to read. So I decided I needed another space; a space to talk about baking and food, a place to simplify hosting for others, a place to create, A Place To Bake.

A Place To Bake does all of the groundwork for you, the researching and summarizing of the recipes. The How-To’s and step-by-steps of throwing a party. Whatever it is, food-related, A Place To Bake brings you high-quality and delicious content, already broken down and plated up for you.

I hope to use this space to create a community of food lovers, people who know the art of hosting, and people who enjoy creating.

I’d love it if you stuck along for the ride! If you’d like to get in touch with me, you can contact me here!
